Are your pieces really handmade?

Yes. We cast in small runs and then finish every piece by hand in our UK studio. Because of this, tiny variations between pieces are normal — it's the signature of something genuinely made, not mass-produced.

Is gold vermeil the same as gold plating?

It's a superior form of it. Vermeil requires a minimum thickness of gold (we use 2.5 microns of 18k) over solid sterling silver, so it wears far better than standard flash plating.

Will silver or vermeil tarnish?

All silver tarnishes eventually — it's a natural reaction with air and moisture. Worn often and stored dry, your pieces will stay bright for a long time. See our [Materials & Care](/materials-and-care) guide.

Do you offer hallmarking?

Where a piece meets the weight threshold that requires it under UK law, it is hallmarked at an official Assay Office.

How long does delivery take?

Can I return something?

Yes — you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of delivery, and we extend this to 30 days. See [Delivery & Returns](/delivery-returns) for how.
